Ganesh Beedi I used to smoke in my college days without knowing to anyone has helped in my film ‘Shyloo’ – this is what Ganesh declared at the media briefing and it really worked for me he says.

With very ordinary costume like Lungi, Banian and shirt with beard and scattered hair Manja – Golden star Ganesh in the film ‘Shyloo’ smokes Beedi one by one sitting in front of locked house of ‘Shyloo’. He wants Shyloo mother to open the door which she is not doing it. In anger Ganehs smokes beedi after beedi. At one point of time a piled up beedi buts are shown on the screen.

Throughout the film there is no makeup for Ganesh in the film. Being a top star Ganesh agreeing this kind of role shows how seriously he takes this profession.

Not only this, Ganesh does the job of Coolie in the market carrying bags of goods. At a few places Ganesh carried Shyloo behind him like how he carried the goods.  Even cycling in many portions is for the first time for Ganesh.

For the opening day at Sagar theatre producer of the film K Manju organized a ‘Homa’ to seek the blessings for success of ‘Shyloo’.

The fans of Golden star came in uniform wearing T shirts to the morning show. The huge cut out of golden star Ganesh was offered a huge garland. From MC Layout Dasarahalli Circle the fans came in Auto with a procession beating drums. Kasthuri Kannada Golden star Ganesh Fans Association Yelahanka broke 101 coconuts and offered sweets to the first show audience. Hudugata Huduga Golden star Ganesh Fans Association of KP Agrahara offered milk to the cut out of Ganesh at Prasanna theatre, garlanded the cut out and fireworks in front of Sagar and Prasanna theatre was at the beginning of the morning show and ending time.
