Farhan Akhtar shuns ‘Don 3’ rumors:Cinejwala:

Bollywood’s multi facet Farhan Akhtar has been balancing between his responsibilities as an actor, producer, director and singer. However currently he is completely focused on the release of his ambitious directorial film ‘Don 2’ that is a sequel to the original ‘Don’.

The film is releasing on 23rd December 2011 and Farhan Akhtar is leaving no stones unturned to make sure that the flick clicks with the audience. It was recently rumored that even before the film’s release producer-director Farhan
has planned a sequel to the film in the name of ‘Don 3’. It was heard that ‘Don 3’ will take forward the story in the third installment of the franchise which will talk about the journey of the mafia. However Farhan recently shunned all such rumors and claimed that the reports were completely baseless and untrue.

He stated that his last two directorial films (Don and Don 2) have been action flicks and hence he would now like to experiment with some other genres. He quoted “I need a break from action films”. He even cleared that he doesn’t intends to repeat the ‘friends’ theme after ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ and ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ and vouched to try something different.
