It seems that Anil Kapoor is in no mood to turn to Bollywood as after the success of ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ he has been evolving as an international star via his one after another international projects. The actor who became a part of American Television series ‘24’ has now bought the satellite rights of the show and plans to put it on the Indian circuit for the audience very soon.
His Production house bought the rights for a whopping amount and they plan to adapt it for Indian television audience. The international team of 24 will be involved when Anil makes the Indian version of the show that will also be screened in other regional languages as well.
Anil has already commenced talks with India's top channels and the show will go on air in mid 2012. The Indian version of the show will have some top Indian actors in key roles and Anil is extremely excited for this venture.
