Ameer in Bharathiraja's film:Cinejwala:

The wait is over. Actor - director Ameer will be donning the lead role in Bharathiraja's ambitious project Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum. Initially Vinay of Unnale Unnalae was rumoured to play the role.

The movie will kick off next week in Theni in which directors Mani Ratnam, Balu Mahendra and K Balachander will take part.

Ameer will romance Iniya and Karthika in the movie and a formal photo session takes place today. G V Prakash is cranking the camera.

Ameer who directed films like Raam, Paruthiveeran and Yogi made his debut as actor with Yogi and appeared for a song in Mysskin's Yuddham Sei. He has completed his directorial venture Aathi Bhagavan starring Jayam Ravi.
