I don’t take tags seriously, says Ranbir :Cinejwala:

Despite of spending just couple of years in the industry, Ranbir Kapoor has been bestowed with titles more than what he can actually handle. While being tagged as a ‘heartthrob’, ‘Next Big Thing’ and ‘Superstar’ were expected the tag ‘Casanova’ was the one that he didn’t anticipate nor did he desired them. But citing his link up stories with every other girl in the town, it was suddenly slammed on his name before he could actually figure out the situation. Recently Ranbir was quizzed on the ‘Casanova’ tag and believe him to be indifferent on that. Ranbir laughed off with the mere query and very cunningly stated that he did film ‘Bachna Ae Haseno’ which had him in a Casanova avatar and after he dated and broke up with Deepika Padukone, he suddenly found that the reel tag was slammed on him via media. He stated that he couldn’t even realize that from where and when did that happen to him.

Apart from tag when Ranbir was asked for his reaction on being called as ‘Bankable star’ and ‘Next Big Thing’, Ranbir was yet again at his witty best when he smilingly quoted that ‘tags’ no longer affect him.
