Arjun overwhelmed by SRK’s trust :Cinejwala:

When Shahrukh Khan offered Arjun Rampal to play the title role in Bollywood most expensive and the biggest film ‘Ra.One’, he was taken aback. Arjun stated that he was really surprised when Shah Rukh Khan with whom he has been friends since quite some time now, offered him to be the lead antagonist of the film that will be made on such a huge scale. However when he saw that Shah Rukh was very serious on the proposal it immediately hit him that it could be the biggest film of his career till date. He says that it was astonishing to see how much belief SRK had on him as an actor and it was really overwhelming to get an offer from one the biggest star of the country. Arjun further exclaimed that it was a great feeling for him to accept the fact that Shah Rukh holds that kind of faith in him. And apart from that the role of ‘Ra.One’ itself excited him to the core. He says that it is not everyday you get to play a strong role like that of antagonists ‘Ra.One’ in the most challenging film.
