Dharmendra confesses of being media shy :CineJwala:

The veteran superstar Dharmendra has been known as the darling of masses. He recently completed 50 glorious years in the entertainment industry and still successfully rules people’s hearts and box-office charts with his films like ‘Apne’ and ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana’. However despite of spending most of his life in the spotlight, Dharmendra recently confessed that he is not a media-friendly person. He stated that he is certainly a very private person and like to be that way as he doesn’t like too much of exposure. He further justified his stand by quoting that earlier people had the curiosity to know more about the stars of the industry. He says the excitement over the stars prevailed amongst the audience beyond the limits of the film. However he states that this craze has zeroed down in today’s era as the over exposure of star’s life has killed the excitement amongst the masses.

With too much of exposure and constant media gaze on star’s life he believes that it has given more than what audiences asked for. But he is happy in keeping his private life away from his glamorous image.
