180 films at 4th Biffe for Rs.500 :Cinejwala:
With just one season pass for one week anybody mind can watch 180 films with state, national and international standards at the 4th Bengaluru International Film Festival. As a matter of fact around 40 films are possible to watch.
In the international arena only the prominent city holds such festival so we also follow it. In no way we are looking Karnataka as small. In the international level Bengaluru has a sound name stated the Karnataka chief minister Gowda.
However, 15th December 2011 to 22nd December after the inauguration at Gnanajyothi Auditorium the 4th Bengaluru International Film festival wide range of 180 are available to Bengaluru residents. The expectation of delegates is roughly around 3500.
In Lido near Ulsoor tip of MG Road, four screens will be used and Vartha Bhavana is the media center, at Inox Ragigudda area, GM Rejoyce in Malleswaram, Suchitra Film society and Badami House the international films will be available.
Greek, Taiwan countries have confirmed and this time special human and Political films besides Senior citizen Nostalgia will be added attraction. Seniors can watch films like Meera of MS Subbulakshmi and various other films of 40 and 50’s say Mr HN Narahari Rao, veteran of the film society movement of India is the Artistic Director of the 4th BIFFES has been appointed by Academy.
Out of 250 applications we will short list 180 films. There will be Vasantha Sena, a book on Puttanna Kanagal, five films of Puttanna will be made with sub titles.
At Gnanajyothi auditorium the inauguration will be made by pioneer of Iran films D Mehrjuy. From India K Balachander, Dadasaheb Phalke award winner will be the chief guest.
Dr Baraguru Ramachandrappa for seminar organizing committee, commissioner commercial tax department for registration committee, Chairman Nataka, Sangeetha, Lalithakale and Janapada Academy, Doordarshan committee, Chairman Kannada Sahitya Parishat, DP Parameshwar for Media coordination committee, HN Maruthi for film prints and coordination committee, Ambarish is in reception committee, KCNChandrasekhar is in Transportation committee, Film selection committee is headed by Chiranjeevi Singh, Film theatre committee, hospitality committee, Publicity committee have been formed.
