Karthi To Do Direct Telugu Film! :CineJwala:

Karthi is gearing up to do a straight Telugu film on seeing the response and popularity for his films in Andhra. It is well known that Karthi’s Tamil films Aayirathil Oruvan[ Yuganiki Okkadu], Paiyaa [Awara] and now Naan Mahaan Alla [Naa Peru Shiva] were dubbed into Telugu and all the films turned out to be hits at the box office. This has made him to think and with no second thoughts to is going to step in Tollywood, which he will be doing soon.

It was last Friday Karthi’s Naan Mahaan Alla was released as Naa Peru Shiva in Telugu. The Telugu version got released nearly eight months after its Tamil original and has surprised the trade by taking decent openings.

Karthi was in Hyderabad for the films promotion, told journalists “I am happy that Andhra Pradesh people are welcoming my films with such great heart and I am always thankful to them. All my Tamil films which are dubbed in Telugu have become hits. Now I have decided to do a straight Telugu film and it will be with Bommarallu fame director Bhaskar. This film will be my tribute to Telugu audience as it carries all the elements which Andhra film lovers would like to watch”.
