Suchi Returns From Sri Lanka

Playback singers  Suchitra, Mano and Krish, who had been to Sri Lanka for a cultural show returned in a huff from the island nation. The trio were supposed to perform in Kilinochi for a musical show for Tamils.

As they reached Lanka, they were informed that it was a show for the cause of local elections in which Lankan President Mahindra Rakapakse is contesting. A section of Tamils had sent a fax to Nadigar Sangam to call them back to Chennai.


Following which, the trio were asked to return back. The three stated that they left to Sri Lankan thinking that they were there to perform for troubled Tamils. But when they came to know the real reason, they chose to return back.
