"Jarasandha" Universal in Thought- Shashank

Kannada film ‘Jarasandha’ will be like another ‘Gajani’. There is universal message too in the film. This could be made in several languages easily disclosed the confident director Shashank who has super hit films like Sixer, Moggina Manasu, Krishnan Love Story to his credit.

On the penultimate day shoot of the film ‘Jarasandha’ song shooting Shashank was bit afraid to work with a popular star Vijay. I had not worked with stars in my previous films. Today I tell you Vijay is softer, easy to handle than a newcomer mentioned Shashank addressing the media. He has put in lot of physical hard work.

There are six action scenes and in a place like Chalakudy we have stored an action scene on the rocks. The firing episode is tremendous and we have shot for the film in the actual religious fare at Mulki ‘Bappanadu Jathre’. There were two lakh people and we have shot live for the film. For a song in Bangkok we shot with black dancers, a rap style song is shot in Bidar fort Shashank went on giving details one after the others. How an action hero like Vijay can fight against the real Mao Thai martial arts fighters is also shown in this film ‘Jarasandha’ stated Shashank.


On the whole we have spent lot of intelligence unlike others. Other big non Kannada films spend money we have used brain boasted Shashank.
