There is high level of rumors spread by a section of media targeting Anushka and lawrence for the film ‘Kanchana.’ In fact lawrence wanted to make a horror flick without missing the entertainment quotient on the same lines of ‘Muni.’ Rumor goes on as if lawrence has requested Anushka to take the challenging LADY role in ‘Kanchana’ which is now actually done by lawrence himself. Fact is that the ‘LADY’ get up seen on screen is not the actual ‘WOMEN’ character but a transgender (Hizra) that is sexually confused or what we popularly call ‘Maada.’
