Young Dynamic Hero Karthi’s costly stunts in Alex Pandian

The unit of the Karthi- Anushka starrer Alex Pandian is back in town after grueling shoot near Mysore in Karnataka.

The film being directed by Suraaj has two major villains in it, namely Milind Soman who has worked with Karthi before in Paiyaa and Suman.

Suraaj has just filmed a daring stunt sequence on a running train with Karthi and Anushka. The scene involved a helicopter chase by Milind and Suman while 50 goons chase the lead pair in 10 Tata Sumos in a daring car chase.

Later Karthi and Anushka had to jump off from atop a running train into a river. A sum of around 2 crores was spent on the stunt sequence with 50 stunt artistes flying in from Chennai for the shoot. Over 300 junior artistes were involved in the sequence apart from Milind Soman and Suman.
A train was hired for 15 days for this daring sequence which ran for a length of 30 kms from Mysore to Krishnarajasagar dam.

The stunts have been composed by Ganesh with six cameras under the expertise of cameraman Saravanan.
