Castes and Politicals go hand in hand in Andhra Pradesh politics always. A ruling party MP is now speaking some bitter things, creating a rift between Kapu and Kamma voters of their party.
Congress MP Rayapati has met Sonia Gandhi in Delhi today to explain the reasons for the loss of their party in by-polls. He expressed that Chiru's entry is also of no use as Kapu voters haven't voted for their party. This comment has irked Chiru's supporters and Kapu community as they are the ones who have driven Kothapalli and Thota Trimurthulu to a win in by-poll.
'How come this senior MP knows whether Kapu's have voted for Congress or not? He has already created Kapu-Kamma splits in Guntur Congress provided his rift with Kanna Lakshminarayana', a Kapu leader breathed fire.
While top leaders like Chiru and Lagadapti, hailing from these two communities are sailing in same boat to save party, Rayapati is trying to drown it by creating a hole. Looks like, Rayapati is going to face few more blasts from other party seniors about his 'insensible' comment.
