Venting their anger over the selection of party candidates for the ensuing by-polls, senior party leaders health minister DL Ravindra Reddy and former minister JC Diwakar Reddy have made it clear that they would be skipping the campaign and also declared that only CM Kiran Kumar Reddy will take the responsibilty of outcome.
If sources are to be believed, both the leaders are planning to go to foreign countries very soon to stay away from party activities till the end of by-polls. While DL will be touring US and Canada, his partner JC will visit UK and Australia.
DL Ravindra Reddy, earlier, suggested few names as the party candidates for the by-polls in the three Assembly segments in Kadapa district. Even, JC Diwakar Reddy lobbied for the party ticket to a minority leader in Anantapur. But the high command turned down their list and gave nod to the names chosen by CM Kiran Kumar Reddy. The two senior leaders were irked with this and decided to stay away from party activities for some time. Will their revolt affect the party's chances in by-polls is to be seen!
