At the launch of Kannada film of century star Shivarajakumar quite an interesting topic of cigar in the mouth of the top star was discussed in the presence of Padmasri Arundhathi Nag, Parvathi Menon and others. The century star Shivarajakumar immediately reacted and said it would deleted from the film in case it is objectionable.
The presence of Smt Arundhathi Nag one of the board members of Central Film Certification Committee at the media meet the discussion held was so useful. Shivarajakumar you are a role model and such scenes would lead to wrong signals Arunthathi Nag realizing the future course of action stated that such scenes would get objection even from the censor board. Arundhathi Nag further said 40 percent of youths in India are below the age of 14 years. Such scenes in the film need chopping she added. The possibility of inculcating is the fear expressed.
Shivarajakumar reacting positively to such statement said he would definitely look at the suggestion. It is shot only for the invitation purpose and it will be taken in to consideration at the time of shooting he stated. Director Phaneesh Kumar hearing the discussion reacted and said suggestion would be kept in mind and incorporated in the film.
Arundhathi Nag played Shivanna mother in ‘Jogi’ that is most popular even today. In ‘Jogaiah’ there was reference from Shivarajakumar to the mother. Now again Arundhathi Nag is acting as mother to Shivarajakumar. How the role would shape up in this film? Arundhathi Nag is also not very clear of her role in ‘Andar Bahar’.
