Nowhere in the polling constituencies the percentage of votes polled has crossed 40% by noon and this is shivering our political parties. Sources say the politicians are attacking cable operators to increase the fraction.
From many poll-bound places like Nagarkurnool, Kovur, Station Ghanpur reports are heard that polling is going smooth except some small incidents. Officials conducting the election are saying that poll percentage is a bit low due to number of functions taking place today. On the other hand, cricket match between arch rivals India and Pakistan is raking more interest than voting for youth.
In view of this, some partymen are said to be cutting the lines of cable TV such that people will come out of home to vote. More than their votes, parties are worried about the investment of 200-2000 rupees they have spent for buying a vote, an analyst quipped. Interestingly in some places like Adilabad voters are not allowing leaders to distribute money while women from Dwacra groups are saying that they are giving less money to one group and hence the outrage.
