Jagan Mohan Reddy an amateur politician: Chiranjeevi

Making a scathing attack on the TDP and YSR Congress, MLA K Chiranjeevi said TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu and YSRC chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy were seeking votes not to serve people but with the view to wrest power.

Campaigning for Congress nominee for Kovur seat P Srinivasulu Reddy in Devispet in Indukurpeta mandal on Monday, he observed that while Jagan Mohan Reddy wanted to become the chief minister overnight, Naidu was making frantic efforts to get back to power.

‘’Chandrababu Naidu, who has not done anything for farmers in his nine-year rule,  is now shedding crocodile tears for them. Farm sector had plunged into crisis during Naidu’s regime forcing farmers to commit suicide,’’ he added
Chiranjeevi dubbed Jagan Mohan Reddy as an amateur politician who was not fit for the chief minister’s post.

He exhorted  people to reject YSRC candidate N Prasannakumar Reddy as he was responsible for the by-election wasting public money.

He said Prasanna Kumar was an opportunist.

‘’He tried to join Congress when YS Rajasekhara Reddy was alive but after his death joined the party opposing the Congress, expecting or getting some favour from the YSRC,’’ he said.

Stating that the Congress is the only party capable of providing stable government, he said Kiran Kumar Reddy government had provided ` 6000 crore loan to farmers.
