Newlywed couple Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza's flick 'Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya' has apparently overtook Bipasha Basu and R. Madhavan's starrer 'Jodi Breakers' within a day of its release. Both the films belonged to romantic-comedy genres and were released yesterday. However, audiences have given thumbs to real-life couple's love story. Even critics have appreciated Riteish-Genelia's on-screen chemistry which is natural. Both the films were low-budget films.
On the first day itself TNLHG has successfully grossed net collection amounting up to Rs.1.75 crore, while 'Jodi Breakers' managed to earn Rs. 1.50 crores. The figures indicate tough competition among the two romantic comedies. Trade analysts suggest that TNLHG has also dominated 'Jodi Breakers' in overseas market. However, both the films have got rave reviews from the critics.
