Shahid turns producer

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor aspires to turn filmmaker. However, the 29- year- old actor does not want to step in the shoes of a director and instead he plans to produce a film. Apparently, the actor wants his father- veteran actor Pankaj Kapur to direct his maiden production venture. The father- son have earlier worked together for Shahid’s last ‘Mausam’ that proved to be a great disaster at the box office.
Currently, Shahid is waiting for his director Maneesh Sharma’s call to resume the shooting of his next. Shahid also declined filmmaker Karan Johar’s offer to star in this forthcoming project. The ‘Kaminey’ actor also walked away from Milan Luthria’s forthcoming flick ‘Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai 2’ as he was not happy with his role in the film.
