Gautham Menon’s ‘Ekk Deewana Tha’ which would be hitting the theaters today would apparently have two climaxes. The film that features Bollywood actor Prateik Babbar and Brit model turned actor Amy Jackson will have two different versions – One would be director’s version and the other would be popular choice of audiences. The director’s cut will release in selected theatres in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore.
The director has kept two different endings in order to cater it to his different audiences that are also down in south. Menon’s EDT is a romantic remake love story of Tamil Film ‘Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa’. The movie also had a Telugu version titled ‘Ye Mayaa Chesave’.
Meanwhile, Menon is very much optimistic and confident about his directorial venture and feels that the movie would do wonders at the box office.
