The story revolves around an actress who touches peaks of success and glory and in no time comes tumbling down due to her addiction for alcohol and the turbulent relationships. In a way, this is quite close to Manisha's life story. However, director Madhur Bhandarkar has reportedly quashed this as a rumour and clarified that his story is an original and not inspired by anyone. Let us see how true that is.
