Silambarasan fondly called as Simbu/STR by his fans, celebrates his Birthday today. The actor considers this as his special year for the project he has signed with director Vetrimaran.

Also before that it will be Simbu's 'Poda Podi' which is set release and also 'Vettai Mannan' will follow the track it seems.

Poda Podi will have Simbu romancing Varalakshmi Sarathkumar and also has a peppy music by Dharan.


Whereas Vettai Mannan is directed by Nelson with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film will mark producer SS Chakaravarthy's comeback. Also Hansika Motwani, Deeksha Seth, Poonam Kaur will be seen along with Simbu. Jai also plays an important role in the film.
