Attakathi team is smiling all the way. Studio Green, the production house that produced many hits starring actors Karthi and Surya, has acquired Attakathi.

The movie starring new faces is directed by Ranjith, who worked as Venkat Prabhu's assistant before.


Ranjith says, 'Attakathi is about the lives of youngsters who live in suburbs near Chennai. When we make a film on youngsters from cities and towns, it's usually about their conflicts. But my film will talk about the happier side of their lives'.
