Sanjay feels his hard work was worth the film’s success:Cinejwala:

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt is on seventh heaven after learning about the great response his latest release ‘Agneepath’ has gathered at box-office. Sanjay did excessive work-out at the gym, turned bald and donned an entirely different look for the film. Sanjay admitted that at a point he felt that it was risky to step into an iconic actor Danny Denzongpa’s shoes. However, he took the risk and now feels it was worth the film’s success which he is right now witnessing.


Sanjay’s negative portrayal of ‘Kaancha Cheena’ has got thumbs up from the audience as well as critics. Sanjay was earlier optimistic as well confident about the film’s success. The 51-year-old star has earlier donned negative roles but ‘Agneepath’ was quite unique and different from his earlier roles. ‘Agneepath’ also features Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra and Rishi Kapoor.
