But when the coin is in the air you will know what your heart is hoping for’ – Director Dayal Padmanabhan catching up with this SMS message he got jumped in joy for getting a thread for his subject and in next one hour of this message on his mobile he prepared a script and narrate first to his children Meera who is studying in Mount Carmel College and son Tharagan a school going boy. The reason behind discussing the script with his children is because they see lot of films and they connect the present generation. After knowing the possibility of a good film with such message Dayal proceeded further.
As Sandeep was waiting for one and half years for launch director Dayal narrated the story he prepared to the family of Sandeep and got a good response. In addition to it, Sandeep family members agreed to produce the film.
To make a choice in life we toss up coin before it gives head or tail we have the anxious moment. That is exactly the cinema travel. It is not a triangular story. Two thirds of the film is moving in two protagonist way of approach to live. The remaining one third the script comes to the reality of life.
Dayal Padmanabhan is using the tossing up coin concept in ‘Sholay’ evergreen cinema made in Hindi. The film moves in Akira Kurosawa ‘Roshoman’ film style with multi dimensional approach. There are commercial elements in the narration of this film.
Dayal is using for the first time 5D camera with Red and Phantom camera that captures 1000 frames for the tossing of coin.
The film ends on a river bank side with the key characters performing in it. The shoot will be held in 45 days says Dayal Padmanabhan.
Rakesh is handling the camera and Rickey Kej is music director of this film. The trailer was displayed on the big screen as first look of the film feel.
