Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi who is riding high on the success of his last flick, ‘The Dirty Picture’ still feels grounded and is absolutely like how he was when he started his career in tinsel town. Emraan gave a kick-start to his career as an assistant director to his uncle, Mahesh Bhatt after which the 32-year-old tried his luck in acting. Emraan does not want tags like superstars or a great actor that affect his work and his dedication towards his role.

Emraan likes to experiment. He never neglects any minor role in the film which is powerful. According to the serial kisser, every role whether it be short-lived it should set an impact on the audience. Emraan’s character of ‘Abraham’ in Milan Luthria’s ‘The Dirty Picture’ was amongst one such character he has essayed in his career. Emraan recently said no to erotic films, as he wants to try out different genres of films. That is the reason Emraan opted out of ‘Jism 2’. However, Emraan currently is concentrating on his three forthcoming projects- ‘Raaz 3’, ‘Jannat 2’ and ‘Shanghai’.
