Director Ameer releases Vachathi Ravi Thambi Audio:Cinejwala:

The sensational 1992 vachathi assault incident in which tribal women were attached and brutally manhandled led by forest, police and revenue personnel, is being made into a film with the title vachathi Ravithambi,who directs the movie, say that he has been toying with the idea of making this incident into a film for quite some time now.

I had almost written the entire script and was waiting for the judgment to be delivered which came through only last September.

The movie talks about the life of a girl a victim of assault during the 1992 incident. How she is torn between her past and the present after she gets married forms the crux of the film.

It’s a story that needs to be told did extensive research before officially going onboard; “new comers Rethna Ramesh and Tarushna play the lead.

The audio of the film was recently launched with several filmmakers like ameer, samudhrakani, jananathan and Stanley gracing the occasion as well as pledging their support for the film.
