A senior journalist from Mysore Srinath writing a book titled as ‘Dhandupalya’ duly registered under the copyright Act, securing the award for his running around various places and obtaining facts in it kicked up a row saying that his contents in the book is utilized in the film ‘Dhandupalya’ by director Srinivas Raju. On Saturday evening the face to face with director Srinivasa Rjau and writer Srinath has resulted in entering the High Court of Karnataka.
At the same time the Dr Ambedkar Kranthi Sene Samithi protested against Pooja Gandhi poster pictures in ‘Dhandupalya’.
The poster of Pooja Gandhi is against to the decency of a woman. This type of posters would harm her image and the woman fraternity says the Kranthi Sene.
With such protests on posters of Pooja Gandhi her position in JDS political party will be highly discussed. Pooja Gandhi joined the Janata Dal Secular political party of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda a few days ago.
Meanwhile director Srinivasaraju of ‘Dhandupalya’ says the allegations made by Srinath are baseless. He has not incorporated anything from his book. I have my own study paper on the life of dreaded killers who are serving term in Belgaum Jail says the director.
Author of Dhandupalya book Srinath has decided to approach the High Court of Karnataka for violating the copyright Act by Kannada cinema director Srinivasaraju.
