Hit filmmaker Rohit Shetty has been on a super hit spree as he has given back to back hits in the name of ‘Golmaal’ series and the recently released ‘Singham’ took him to his career to yet another level. Nevertheless Rohit is hungry for more as the director is game for spreading his wings in the television world as well. He has been seen judging reality based comedy shows in past but now he has taken the plunge and will be next seen in an action based reality show ‘Big Switch’. When quizzed for the reason of taking up television after a long hiatus, he stated “I had time in between my films. Also I enjoy doing television, as it creates awareness among people about who you are”.

He believes that TV is one essential public relation tool, “It helps in brand building. Today, being on TV is a must-have job profile. It also helps you and your projects, because you understand what people want. I found the concept of Big Switch very exciting”. Talking more about the show, “It's an adventurous, action-based show where rich kids have to perform different roles. They are given jobs as stuntmen and waiters, or even taxi drivers and vada pao sellers” said Rohit.
