For this Sundya at 3.30 pm Charuhasan, Lalithanjali, Raghuveer Madhavy, Vaishali Kasaravalli, Jayaram acted ‘Kubi Mathu Iyyala’ an offbeat film produced and directed by Sadananda Suvarna with Vydyanathan music is screening for public. The screening is at  K V Subbanna Aaptha Rangamandira,No. 151, 7th cross, Teachers' colony 1st stage,(Near Dayananda Sagar College, opp to Vasudha Bhavan, Kumaraswamy Layout),Bangalore - 560078. ‘Kubi Mathu Iyyala’ is based on KP Purnachandra Thejaswi story with Girish Kasaravalli direction and GS Bhasker is the cameraman.

What is ‘Kubi Mathu Iyyala’? Dr Kubi in the remote village takes on hard journey by bus. He knows about the corrupt village of contractor, landlords and ghost rock responsible for many accidents. The discipline of Dr Kubi is difficult to digest for compounder Ramaraya. The eradication of ignorance and superstitious belief and of course putting end to corruption in village earns a campaign against him. Doctor goes to the extent of proving a murder. He becomes helpless as his activities are interpreted. Despite of gaining power all go in vain for Dr Kubi.
