‘Item’ Bipasha hikes her rates:Cinejwala:

When it comes to raunchy songs and sizzling dance tracks sexy bombshell Bipasha Basu has been always the frontrunner in walking away with zillion hearts with her performances. Be it her jig in ‘Beedi Jalaele’, ‘Namak Ishq ka’, ‘Billo Rani’ or others she has been a clear winner as a stealer of hearts. Hence citing her golden record at dance numbers, Bipasha Basu was recently offered a meaty item number in the Telugu remake of Bollywood film ‘Dabangg’.

The Telugu film interestingly titled ‘Gabbar Singh’ is currently on floors and the creative team behind the film is currently scouting for a perfect actress to step in the shoes of Malaika Arora Khan who did the famous ‘Munni Badnam’ item number in the original. They offered Bipasha a lucrative deal and offered her Rs. 50 lakh for the item track. But Bipasha was unhappy with that amount and has apparently demanded a humongous fee that is Rs. 1 crore. The team doesn’t intend to lose out Bipasha and are currently negotiating the deal with her.
