Challenging star Darshan ‘Chingari’ having good business proposals even before the audio release and release of the film slated for January 27 is another screen stealer is sure to set the records again in the box office.

The film ‘Chingari’ by director Harsha the choreographer of fame in Kannada cinema in his third venture has given action by 50 percent, silence and dialogues in equal proportions.

Action is compulsory says director Harsha. There are seven action portions with love, sentiment and lovely songs.  In the year 2011 challenging star Darshan’s ‘Boss, Prince and Sarathi’ are the releases and in the beginning of New Year it will be a totally different concept cinema. I thought of directing Darshan after seeing his ‘Abhay’ says Harsha. The song in ‘Abhay’ Bhanu Kempadhanthe… was in my choreography I came very close to super star Darshan.

When the call sheet of Darshan was ready it was easy task for me and producer Mahadev to make arrangements remembers director Harsha. The problem was only in finalizing the heroine. As the shooting is at Switzerland and Bangkok the free dates of call sheet was required. Finally we decided on Deepika Kamaiah. Kannada actress Bhavana is also in an important part of this film. We have shot for only 72 days for ‘Chingari’ says Harsha. Pradeep, Yashas Surya, Srujan Lokesh, Madhu, Vishwa, Ramesh Bhat, Aruna Balaraj, Sumithramma are also part of supporting cast. V Harikrishna has done the music and HC Venu is cameraman.

There is an exotic chase before the interval shot in Switzerland is one of the many highlights of the film. Stylish Darshan you will see in this ‘Chingari’. He has slimmed down for this film, Special costumes give more attraction for superstar says Harsha.
