On Thursday it was assembly of bigwigs of Kannada cinema industry at the 4th Bengaluru International Festival inauguration at Jnanajyothi Auditorium in Central College campus at the heart of the city.
Karnataka chief minister unveiled the flag brought by ambassador to the festival national award winning actress Thara and declared open the festival. All the dignitaries on the stage also waved the flag to announce the beginning.
The Karnataka chief minister DV Sadananda Gowda was in a hurry to leave the auditorium as he had come from the middle of the Assembly session. I have prepared the big speech but not able to take time because I have to replay on the Belgaum issue in the house. I wish grand success of the festival stated the chief minister and left the place with Kannada and culture minister Govinda Karajole.
There was no announcement from the Karnataka chief minister on this occasion obviously disappointed. The 4th Bengaluru International Film festival organized by Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy on behalf of Karnataka government had a simple start.
