Simbu’s Osthi leaves way for Mayakkam Enna:Cinejwala:

The latest buzz is that the much-awaited Osthi, a remake of Dabbang starring Simbhu will hit the screens in December. Simbhu says, 'it is my first complete mass entertainer. I have tried my best to present the role as unique as possible'.

Revealing more details about the film, he says, 'I play a police officer whose name is Osthi Velan. Though he is part of the Police department, he has his own sets of rules, and does what he thinks is right. How life presents him some interesting twists and turns forms the crux of  Osthi.'

Directed by Dharani, Osthi has Mallika Sherawat shaking a leg with Simbu for the Tamil equivalent of the Munni... song. Also he adds, Dhanush is a close friend of mine and we share a good rapport, so I requested Osthi to be postponed till December.
