I Am Orthodox, Says Anushka Sharma:Cinejwala:

Anushka Sharma made her debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ in a very simple and girl next door avatar. However she immediately shunned her simplistic look and donned a sexy avatar for her films like ‘Badmaash Company’ and ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ where she did bold scenes and got intimate with her co-stars.

However when quizzed about any qualms and inhibitions on doing such scenes, pat comes her answer in negative. Anushka stated that as an actor it’s her job to comply with the scripts demands, however quoted that she would never reveal unnecessarily like other actresses, whom she refused to name. Anushka stated that despite of her coming from an army background, her parents are extremely understanding and cooperative towards her demanding job.

She stated that her parents never had any issues with her doing bold and intimate scenes on screen and shunned everyone when she quoted that she is actually more orthodox than her parents.
