Akshay Shuns Rumors On ‘Desi Boyz’:Cinejwala:

Citing the casting of Akshay Kumar and John Abraham in the film ‘Desi Boyz’, the buzz around the film was such that people assumed the film to be a sequel of their hit comedy flick ‘Garam Masala’. However Akshay Kumar recently cleared once and for all that the film isn’t a sequel to their hit film and is totally different from that. He says apart from the central genre, from story to character portrayals everything is distinguishably different in both the films.

While ‘Garam Masala’ was romantic comedy, Akshay claimed that the flick ‘Desi Boyz’ has a social message as it is set up in a social turmoil backdrop. He claimed that more than the comedy flick, the film is more about the moral values about the leads and is essentially a family drama film.
