Sonam extends the olive branch to Abhay :Cinejwala:

After the much hyped film ‘Aisha’ tanked at box-office, a series of verbal spats between the film’s stars flooded the media. First film’s producer and lead actress Sonam Kapoor’s father Anil Kapoor avoided Abhay Deol in promotions. Later when the film broke out before audience many critics lashed out the film to be a fashion centric deprived-of-story saga. Many even wondered that why a talented star like Abhay took up the female centric film in which his role looked like an extended cameo. Abhay too lashed out the film in public by tagging it to be a biggest mistake of his career. Later there were comments and indirect verbal war between Sonam, Abhay and Anil. But now it seems that the bubbly and chirpy actress Sonam is in mood to let bygones be bygones. She in her recent interview quoted that Abhay Deol was by far the best actor she has worked with. Well with such pleasant words coming from his once co-star cum enemy Sonam, we wonder if Abhay too will follow the suit and patch up with his ‘Aisha’.

However not very long ago, while promoting ‘Mausam’, Sonam had touted her ‘the then’ co-star Shahid Kapoor to be her favorite actor.
