Puri spills beans about Mahesh Babu Khaidi :Cinejwala:

Director Puri Jagannadh confirmed that he is in plans to remake Chiranjeevi’s mega hit Khaidi with Mahesh Babu in the lead. “Mahesh and I have been planning to do this film from three years,” Puri said. So the buzz about Khaidi remake looks to be on the cards.

Puri Jagannadh however didn’t say if it will be really made or not. He said “Mahesh and I would love to do that film”. Khaidi is the film which gave the big break for Chiranjeevi to turn into a number one hero. Chiru never looked back after Khaidi and went on to do super hits and blockbusters in a row.

Khaidi remained in the history books of Tollywood as the film which made the Megastar of Telugu cinema. Khaidi was inspired from a Hollywood film First Blood and was adopted to suit our nativity to the T. Paruchuri Brothers rate this film among their best works to date.
