Just recently Amitabh Bachchan was in news for being bestowed with a doctorate by an international university in Australia. It was reported that after completing the shooting for his cameo in a Hollywood film ‘The Great Gatsby’, Amitabh will head to receive the honor. But recently he was slammed with serious allegations that could dampen his celebratory moment. Recently a US based Sikh group filed a criminal complaint against Amitabh Bachchan in Australia. He has been slammed with the complaint for his suspected role in November 1984 anti-Sikh riots. The complaint has been registered with Australia's Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions by Sikhs for Justice (SFJ).
The complaint has found support as SFJ has been joined by National 1984 Victims Justice and Welfare Society as well as ‘All India Sikh Students Federation’. We wonder what will be Amitabh’s next move in this legal hassle that has emerged suddenly out of nowhere.
