Arjun’s absence from promotions :Cinejwala:

Despite of the fact that Shah Rukh Khan’s magnum opus ‘Ra.One’s theatrical promo released a good four months before its release, it was just recently that Arjun Rampal was first seen in the promo. Arjun plays the lead title role of the film and will be seen as the modern age ‘Raavan’ who is named in the film as ‘Ra.One’. The promotions of the film have taken a centre stage as SRK has been painting the town red with his mega promotional events. But despite of such an extravagant promotional spree, Arjun was strangely kept away from the limelight. Many assumed that SRK didn’t want to share the limelight with ‘Ra.One’ but however when Arjun was quizzed over being left out from the promotions and here’s he giving the justification behind the scheme. Arjun stated that Shah Rukh didn’t want to reveal about ‘Ra.One’ too early as he wanted him to be his trump card that he kept for the right time. And just when the curiosity of the film reached its peak, it was then that he released the rushes of ‘Ra.One’s aka Arjun’s character through the promos. Arjun stated that it was SRK’s call to keep the look under close wraps and unveil it on the right time.
