Remember Patchiraja Studios. It was a famous studio in Coimbatore where many films were shot about a few decades ago. Thespian Sivaji Ganesan's Nan Pettra Selvam was the last film to be shot there. However with changing times, film-making shifted to Chennai. Now after almost 48 years, a Tamil movie will be shot there.

Siruvani, directed by Kovai Race Course Raghunath, will go to floors at Patchiraja Studios.  Produced by Kovai Marudhamalai Films, the film features Sanjay in the lead role. He had acted in films like Thandavakone, Tharagu, Ayyavazhi before. Iswari plays the female lead. Madhuchandhana, who acted in Mudhan Mudhalai and Minsaram has re-christened herself as Iswari. Paandu, Muthukalai, Benjamin are also ion the cast.

The movie has music by Deva and cinematography by Ramalingam.
