The way director P. Vasu mesmerized producer Bellamkonda Suresh with story of ‘Nagavalli’ as a sequel to ‘Chandramukhi’ has already been seen by us. We know that P. Vasu hasn’t done anything more than re-shooting of ‘Chandramukhi’ with new and extra characters, star cast. That is why audience rejected the flick making it a pathetic failure in Venkatesh career.
Now Lawrence Raghava too has done the same projecting ‘kanchana’ as just a new Xerox copy to its original and earlier one ‘Muni.’
Although theme and script are ditto, Lawrence directed ‘kanchana’ little better. Bellamkonda having learnt a good lesson from P. Vasu and ‘Nagavalli’ hasn’t become a ‘Bakra’ this time because he is known to have brought the Telugu release rights of ‘kanchana’ for lowest price in the range of less than 2 crores and already had table profits before the release. Even with a divided talk, he is not to become a 'Bakra' atleast for this time.
