Beautiful Kajal Says "Singham" Is My Bollywood Debut

Kajal Agarwal, the southern starlet is playing the lead role in Rohit Shetty’s Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Sigham’. Her character in the film is of a happy go lucky, mischievous girl that plays Ajay’s love interest. Kajal is elated about the film and is all praises for co-stars Ajay Devgn, Prakash Raj and director Rohit Shetty. She did not have to give any screen test for the film also and was signed instantly for this south Indian remake.

Kajal’s first Bollywood film was ‘Kyon Ho Gaya Na’ that was produced by Boney Kapoor and starred Aishwarya Rai and Vivek Oberoi. She had a blink and miss role in the film and played Aishwarya’s friend. But the actress now says that she doesn’t considers that film as her Bollywood debut and it is for Singham that she gave her first shot for the Hindi cinema.

Kajal is confident that she is here to stay but that will only be definite after ‘Singham’ releases on July 22, 2011.
