Parthiban's Hits Half Century:Cinejwala:

Actor - director R Parthiban is all geared up for the release of Vithagan next week. Interestingly it is his 50th film.

Parthiban, who worked as associate to Bhagiyaraj and pandiarajan, started his career as filmmaker and actor with Puthiya Pathai. He went on to do many films including Housefull that fetched him a National award.

Much recently he settled down to do character roles in films like Ayirathil Oruvan and a few Malayalam movies. Vithagan, written directed and enacted by him features him in the role of a tough cop.

Produced by Manickam Narayanan, the movie features Poorna opposite him.

Vithagan will release on 18 November.
