Actress Thabu Shankar turns Director

After lyricists like Pa Vijay and Snehan ventured to acting, another lyricist Thabu Shankar now ventures to direction.

Thabu Shankar who has penned several hit-songs ventures into direction with Vetkathai Kettal Enna Tharuvai.

The film stars Ashok of Pidichirukku-fame and Krithika is touted to be a romantic entertainer.

Says Thabu Shankar: 'The film revolves around an artist who takes to painting full-time after being dumped by his girlfriend'.

Thabu has penned the lyrics which have been set to tune by D Imman.
Speaking about the film, Ashok says, 'It’s a love story on a different note. It deals with the problems faced by lovers'.
