Actress Poorna Paired opposite Akhil

Poorna of  Vithagan fame is in all smiles. Ask her about her next Karuvachi, she says, ' it would be a movie to reckon with in my career.'

Akhil, who made his debut with Kaloori shares the screen with Poorna in Karuvachi, directed by A R Shiva.  Speaking about the film, Poorna says, 'I play a strong, courageous village girl in it. 'I appear sans make-up'. I have gone de-glam for Drohi earlier, in which I played the role of a slum girl. But this role is entirely different from other characters that I'd played.'
'I was so impressed with the script that director Shiva  told me that I decided to return the advance amount for the film Karuvachi'.
