Manchu Lakshmi is Sanju's Wife!:Cinejwala:

Versatile manchu lakshmi prasanna could not have expected anything bigger than this on her entry into B-town. She has although become a big player on production side with continuous movies planned on Lakshmi Prasnna Pictures…acting is her passion which Ramgopal Varma is better utilizing. Lakshmi is playing Sanjay Dutt’s wife in Ramgopal Varma’s action thriller ‘Department.’

‘My dad and Sanju’s dad Sunil uncle were very good friends. They were in the Rajya Sabha together. And so, Sanju was often at my house,’ says Lakshmi who impressed RGV seeing her performance as witch in ‘Anaganaga O Dheerudu.’

‘The role was actually a conventional housewife. Ramu tweaked it a lot when I joined the cast. I belong to a very different school of acting, coached by Milton Katselas who trained Elizabeth Taylor and Kate Hudson. So, Ramu wanted to give my role an unique dimension,’ adds Lakshmi.
