Top Most Director Krishna Vamsi and Nani Film Titled 'Paisa'
Creative director Krishna Vamsi’s film with young hero Nani has been titled ‘Paisa’ (Money). Earlier it is heard that ‘Jenda Pai Kapiraju’ is the title under consideration, But now 'Paisa' title has been registered in the Chamber and this has been confirmed to us.

Over Hype For Pawan Gabbar Singh
Films having high expectations can rest assured of a grand opening, but most of the times they would turn dangerous for the film's prospects at box office. A film with high expectations should meet those to survive at the box office. Or else it would be rejected right on day 1. Even average content won't help the film to stay afloat!
NTR's Dammu is a prime example for over hype turning into the biggest disadvantage for the movie. This film was overly hyped by the makers and they didn't try to lower the expectations at all. Audiences and fans expected this film to be a great visual treat, but Dammu was average at best. Had this film released with a minimum expectations, the response would have been different.
Racha was released amidst nil expectations and turned out to be an average fare. Audiences were more than pleased with that and made the film a blockbuster. The next big release Gabbar Singh is riding on high expectations like Dammu. So the film should live up to the expectations to satisfy the viewers. Bollywood actor Zarine Khan bags ‘Partner 2’
It’s officially confirmed that Bollywood actor Zarine Khan who marked her Bollywood debut opposite Salman Khan in ‘Veer’ would now again share screen space with him for David Dhawan’s comedy flick ‘Partner 2’ that would be a sequel to his 2007 hit.
While the original featured Salman, Govinda, Lara Dutta and Katrina Kaif, the sequel would only see the two male leads reprising the role as Zarine and Kingfisher model Angela Johnson have replaced the two female leads in upcoming sequel.
Initially, Dhawan was keen to cast Katrina as one of female lead for the film but as she was pretty busy with her impending projects lying in her kitty, she decline the offer.
The film is certainly going to roll by 2013 as Salman is busy shooting for his home production ‘Dabangg 2’ as well as Zarine is even shooting for her first Tamil flick ‘Karikalan’ opposite superstar Vikram.

ShahRukh Khan TO Appear At High Court On May 26
Problems and controversies have been surrounding Bollywood reigning Khan- Shah Rukh Khan who was earlier in news for his personal life for having an alleged affair with actor Priyanka Chopra and now recently he was in news for been caught smoking in an open stadium at Rajasthan while an on-going IPL (Indian Premier League) tournament.
The Rajasthan High Court has sued the ‘Ra. One’ star for smoking publicly in front of several spectators who attended the match. Apparently Rajasthan government had put ban on smoking publicly and King Khan committed this act for which he is been charged under the Act of Rajasthan Prevention of Smocking Act passed in year 2000.
However, the court has now issued summon against King Khan and has told him to appear in front of court on May 26.

However, director Rakesh Mehta has disappointed the audiences hugely through his latest release as the movie lacks great script and creates chaos and complexity.

The film’s story revolves around five vital characters in the film. Ranvir plays a Bengali man who has lost his love and has now turned an alcoholic. Kay Kay plays a role of gangster seeking revenge for his parent’s death. Neha essays a role of ambitious girl who does not have much bank balance but dreams of becoming big. She later ends up conning men for earn her living. Manu essays a role of cop who has just transferred from to Mumbai from Haryana. Pradhyuman essays a role of Ranvir’s friend who helps him out in giving him suggestions on various ways of committing suicide to get over from his break-up trauma.

Mehta is the only to be blamed for making chaotic movie as the movie has failed to offer anything. Story:
An orphan is adopted by a big Rajas family and is given the name Raja Vasi Reddy (Junior NTR). Raja Vasi Reddy comes to know that he will have to take a huge responsibility of saving his village from dreaded blood thirsty goons. At the start he will be reluctant to take the responsibility. But once he takes it to heart there is no stopping. How does he win over the enemies and how he makes his village a peaceful place is the crux of Dhammu’s story.

Dhammu is yet another commercial potboiler film with a routine story and age old backdrop. This film may not get glowing reviews from the critics. NTR fans will lap it up and will watch it repeatedly for NTR’s roaring performance. Dhammu has the elements to lure the masses in B and C centers.
Director could have written a better screenplay to take the film to next level. There are too many ups and downs in the narration. Heroism never gets completely elevated as the story demands such underplay. But from the outlook of the film one would expect a better and powerful output.
Boyapati played it safe by taking up a subject that has been beaten to death many a time. He tried to add humor to the narration in first half and it is just okay. There are some really powerful sequences and equally dull moments in the film. Perhaps a low profile release would have received a better response.
Performances:
Junior NTR was superb in this film. He was apt for the character and shouldered the film throughout. If not for NTR this film would have been a dud. NTR’s performance in interval scene got great response from his fans.
Trisha was fine and Karthika was not bad either. They don’t have much scope to perform. All they have to do is to shake their leg with NTR when needed and mouth few spicy dialogues. Nazar’s getup was good. Venu was Okay in his brief yet important role. Presence of Brahmanandam and Ali is felt but they didn’t make any difference to the film.
Technicalities:
Dhammu has good technical values. Cinematography was top notch and so was the music. Keeravani’s background score stands out. Editing could have been better and Dialogues add repeat value for the target audience. Producers spent a fortune on the film. It is very rich in every frame. Director Boyapati Srinu made sure that there are good number of powerful scenes. His trademark scenes were shot well and the rest of the scenes are just okay. Had he concentrated more on the screenplay, Dhammu might have hit the right chords with the audience.
Final Word:
Dhammu is for fans. NTR fans will be pleased with this powerful mass film as they didn’t get to see in such a powerful role in the recent times. Others may like it or may not like due to poor content and old concept.

Dasari Narayana Rao has once again made controversial statements, but this time it is about the sanctity of the awards. The senior director alleged that awards, both at state and central level can be managed.

Govt Stops Screening Of Dirty Picture On Tv
The TV premiere of National Award-winning film 'The Dirty Picture' has been stalled by the government on Sunday, despite undergoing 36 voluntary and 26 compulsory cuts and acquiring an U/A certificate from the Censor Board. Actually, the film was scheduled to be aired at afternoon and 8 pm in Sony TV. But the Information and Broadcasting ministry stopped the screening by asking channel to skip the prime time and air the film
after 11 pm.
Producer Ekta Kapoor, who is upset over stalling the screening, expressed her anger on the social networking site. "We can show rape, an 8-year old's marriage to 40 year old, we can show reality/comedy shows with vulgar content but we can't show a liberal womans story who lived life on her own terms-truly this is our nations DIRTY PICTURE!," she wrote.
The Dirty Picture is based on the story of southern siren Silk Smitha. The film which was being made on a moderate budget of Rs 8 crore went on to collect over Rs 100 crore at the Box Office. It also bagged three National Awards and the film's lead star Vidya Balan won the National Award for Best Actress. Surpisingly, a National Award film is not permitted a national telecast!

Using his good contacts with former chief minister late YS Rajasekhar Reddy, Suri acquired the contracts of the project. The Handri-Neeva Sujala Sravanthi project is intended to provide irrigation facility to four districts in the Rayalaseema region. Late YSR laid the foundation stone for this mega project.

High Security For Bhanu in Cherlapally Jail

Congress high command has given its nod for the re-entry of actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi into film with the landmard (150th) film. Union minister and AICC observer Vayalar Ravi, who was in the state to prepare the party for the upcoming by-polls, stressed the need for Chiru's re-entry.
"Vayalar Ravi insisted me to act in films again. But I conveyed to him that I'm not having the time for films. Finally, slain factionist Maddelacheruvu Suri's killer Bhanu got arrested by the police. Confirming this, CID police stated that Bhanu will be presented before media by 5.30 pm today in the evening.

Zaheerabad, when he is returning to Hyderabad from Mumbai, revealed CID IG Krishnamurthy. Police got clues once Bhanu started writing letters to his friend Madhu to request money.

Ajith's 'Billa 2' calendar to spice up things further!
The makers of ‘Billa 2′ have come up with an idea of shooting for a ‘Billa 2 Calendar’ that would feature the film’s heroines Paravathy Omanakuttan and Bruna Abdullah. It has been reported that a photo shoot for the same has been recently conducted in Goa.
The audio release of the film has been scheduled for May 1, and expectations regarding the soundtrack and musical
score composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja are naturally huge. The calendar is expected to be released as well some time in May, soon after the audio release.
The film that is a prequel to the super hit film ‘Billa’ that was released in 2007, would tell the story of David, an ordinary man from the coastal regions of South Tamil Nadu metamorphosing into Billa, a dreaded underworld don. While ‘Billa’ was shot in Malaysia, the prequel has been shot mostly on locations at Goa, Hyderabad and Georgia. It is expected to release on 25 May 2012.

Remaking ‘Chattakkari’ is a huge challenge: Santhosh
Santhosh Sedhumadhavan, who is busy shooting for his film ‘Chattakkari’ says that remaking the film was a huge challenge. Santhosh says that when he discussed the idea of remaking the film with his legendary film maker dad, K S Sethumadhavan, the veteran had asked him to be careful about it!
Santhosh says that it would impossible for him to compete with his dad’s version of the film. Neither does he intend to
reproduce a xerox copy of his dad’s work. There would be several changes in his ‘Chattakkari’; the kind of changes that time demands on the film maker.
Some characters in the film would be given a little more prominence than they were given in the original. He also hopes to being in some extra emotions into the plot, and build on the elements of fantasy in it even further.
