Ganja Karuppu the comedian-actor who was introduced by director Ameer is well known for his Social Service activities in Kollywood.

Recently the actor and wife Sangeetha went to Institution for specially abled people near
Trichy. There they agreed to sponsor for 10 childrens with an amount of rupees 30,000 each month to meet their daily expenses.

Also Ganja Karuppu who did this at Santhivanam Kalaiarangam didn't stop with that, he further requested his colleagues and film industry people to come forward and help the people who are in need.

Maybe he is a comedian on-screen, but with a kind heart and helping hands he stands as a hero off-screen.
